Place-based Learning (Travel)

Project-based Learning expands the learning beyond the classroom and into other places. This is known as Place-based Learning. One of the best ways to expand ones knowledge is by experiencing life of other cultures in other places. We visit other countries to expound our ecology learning as well. This year we will be taking students and their families to Costa Rica (Camp Pura Vida - Family Go Global) for an immersive experience in language, food, design and innovation, and water study. Your support will pay for the 5 Pura Vida Camp for 20 students. Families will be responsible for their own room/board and travel expenses.
